Jharsuguda district of Orissa has the Jharsuguda town as headquarter. The district
is rich in coal and several other mineral reserves. Of late, iron and steel industries
are coming up marking the sunshine days of the district in the times to come . It
include four block and now a days a lot of industry are try to set up at Jharsuguda.
The district once had an airport during World War II, which now turns in to a visit
spot. The popular block of this disrict are Lakhanpur,Kolabira and Jharsuguda.
